In a collaborative effort between The Rickert Ranch, SC2 Outdoors and CDFW, we are once again offering 2 elk hunting opportunities in 2020 through the CDFW SHARE Program. This is an awesome and unique opportunity to get to hunt these magnificent animals on this spectacular family ranch. We will be offering 1 Bull Tag and 1 Cow Tag in this program. We strictly manage this ranch so the bull to be taken needs to fit within our management objectives and must be approved prior to harvest. All radio collared elk are not eligible to be taken as this is a new study by CDFW and we need those animals to survive a few years so they can get proper data to better manage the California Elk Program, we do have several collared cows on this ranch. The application period runs until July 24, 2020 so for an application fee of $12.14 you just might pick up a 2020 California Elk Tag. This draw is open to all residents and non-residents, so the program survives based on the public applications, so make sure you get applied for any of the SHARE Hunts you prefer.
